Wombaroo understands that schools have differing requirements and expectations for their programs. We offer several set Education Programs that schools can select from and then tailor to meet specific needs. Alternatively, Outbreak can develop a program to cater for specific requirements.

Wombaroo staff will assist schools in all aspects of program design and implementation.

With a huge range of activities available on site and in the adjoining state forest, there are program options to suit all ranges of age and abilities.
   
 
In introducing students to the outdoor environment, the Introduction to Camping Program is one of our most popular Outdoor Education Programs.

Typically, this program is based at The Wombaroo Adventure Centre and the adjoining Jellore State Forest. Groups often combine a number of on-site adventure activities with a camping experience in the State Forest or on a designated area on the property.

   
 
To assist schools in providing a comprehensive Outdoor Education Program, Outbreak often oversees Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Trips, both practice and qualifying expeditions.

Duke of Edinburgh expeditions need to be centred around a ‘journey with a purpose’. Time spent on a trip is often spent on route planning, navigation, camp craft, and other activities that are related to the trip.

Assistance is available with pre-trip training, and suitable equipment can be provided if students and staff do not have their own equipment.
